Railroad Museum [for a day] will feature over a dozen pieces of restored vintage railroad equipment and several authentic period vehicles on display in URHS’s restoration facility. URHS will celebrate this historic gathering of railroad heritage with an exclusive photographic opportunity.
At 7:30 PM on Saturday, September 29, 2018, the URHS is inviting a limited number of photographers to join us in a staged night photo shoot. Flash lighting this year will be provided by avid railroad photographer Thomas Nanos.
Photo subjects this year include the New York Central Hickory Creek and E8 #4083, PRR GG1 4877 with an authentic baggage car display, and other historic NJ equipment.
Participants are asked to bring cameras, tripods, and sturdy closed-toe shoes (boots are preferred).
Admission is only $25, and there are a limited number of spaced available! Purchase tickets on this page and contact us if you have any questions!
100% of the proceeds from this event go towards URHS’s efforts to preserve historic railroad equipment of state and regional importance.
